Kevin Frazier Clay Artist
Most of my current work is raku. The spontaneity of the raku process helps keep me energized and excited. Like Christmas morning for a child, I can’t wait to see what I am going to get out of each firing.
I create both wheel thrown and hand built pieces, most of which are non-functional. My love of clay is in its tremendous possibilities and directions. As a result of the clay’s potential I shift back and forth from the wheel to hand built forms very often combing both directions with other materials such as wood, metal, leather and glass.

I will be at the Farmers Market in downtown Salt Lake every Saturday morning this summer. It starts at 8am and ends at 1pm. Hope to see you there beginning June 12 2010.
