3 Cabin Decor Ideas To Give Your Cabin A Country Feel

Blog

While purchasing or building a cabin is going to be incredibly exciting, decorating the cabin is going to be a lot of fun as well. This is where you can add your own personal style to the cabin and make it feel like your perfect escape into nature. While there are endless options when it comes to decorating your cabin, there are some that are perfect for creating a very country feel to your cabin. This article is going to discuss 3 cabin decor ideas to give your cabin a country feel.

Bear Rug

One great piece of decor to add to your cabin is a bear rug. This bear rug would be great as a rug in the main area of your cabin, or it would look just as great hanging on one of the main walls. You could even incorporate multiple bear rugs into your cabin decor if you would like. It doesn't get more country than shooting a bear and having it turned into a rug to display. If you have a bear rug of your own, this is excellent. However, if you don't have one, you can find them at several different home decor or cabin decor stores either in your area or online.

Antler Base Lamp

Another great piece of decor to add to your cabin is an antler lamp. An antler lamp is going to have a base that is hand crafted out of shed antlers from an elk. There is then going to be a light and lamp shade attached to the top of the antler base, with all of the necessary wiring. Putting these lamps on end tables or nightstands will add a perfect country touch to your cabin, and also provide some much needed light.

Boat Shaped Book Case

There are few things far more country than going fishing in a fishing boat on the lake. To incorporate somewhat of a fishing theme into the decor of your cabin, you can have a book case that is created to look like an actual fishing boat. The bookcase will look as it if it is a boat standing against the wall, with several different shelves inside of it to hold books. You can also add some glass doors to the boat bookcase if you would like, to customize it even more and to protect the books that you have placed on the shelves.
